I received
a Bachelor of Science in Photography from Sam Houston
State University in Huntsville, Texas in 1979 and I went
to work in Houston, Texas for a photographer who has become
one of the best in the country. He taught me not only about
creating great portraits but also about the business of
photography.
In 1985,
I opened my own studio in Sugar Land, Texas where I have
been a member of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce since
1988 and the Rose Rich Chamber of Commerce since 2000.

Steven
E. Leonard Photography, Inc. opened in Sugar Land, Texas
in 1985. Our studio is located in the Greatwood area in
Sugar Land, but we do most of our portraits on location.
For about
20 years, we have been creating beautiful portraits that
chronicle our clients' lives and important occasions. What
we do with a camera becomes part of family histories, something
that can be passed from generation to generation.
We create
portraits of families, children, couples, brides, grooms,
graduates, business executives and weddings. We come to
you at your location – your yard, a park, a favorite spot
in the Hill Country, on the beach or anywhere else you
would like to have your portrait created. We can also select
a location for you from among many in the Sugar Land and
Greater Houston areas, or you can come to the studio.
Whether
we are on location or in the studio, our job is to make your
portrait experience easy and pleasurable. We'll meet with
you first at your home or office
or
at
our studio
to
discuss
your ideas
for
your
portrait. We will talk about where we'll create your portrait,
what you could wear, and the time of day that will be best

We
are also involved in fundraising efforts for schools,
churches and nonprofit organizations. We are happy to consider
making a donation of a portrait session to your favorite
charity auction. We also offer gift certificates for all
occasions.
